The use of compost is the key to fertilization and life in the soil.

It is made on site with poultry manure (grown at the Domaine), and crushed plants in which particular biodynamic plants base is added (nettle, ACHILLEE, milfoil, chamomile, oak, valerian).
It brings cosmic strength which surrounds us.

The organic manure is added thanks to the compost made on site. Its fermentation is regulated and enriched by biodynamic preparations with plants.

Biodynamic in practice

Grass totally covers the vines’ soil in winter in order to prevent erosion when there are Mediterranean rains, which are often plentiful.
2 composts are made at the Domain each year.

A flock goes by each year to mow before the grass is buried.

The fertilization in the vines is important to feed the plants, but also to keep the soils sustainable.
Biodynamic preparations with cowpat base to stimulate soil life, and crushed silica to stimulate and regulate aerial parts, are spread several times a year.

It allows to obtain aerial bunches of grapes, a reinforcement of the taste, and better defences against attackers.
